Known for his precision and unmatched dedication, Jack earned the title of State of Georgia Top Dog in 2017, a testament to his skill and focus in the field. Even in retirement, his legacy lived on, with handlers sharing his tactics as a model for new working dogs. Jack’s service, resilience, and impact will not be forgotten.
K9 Dash
K9 Dash, a German shepherd from the Netherlands, served the Amherst Police Department with unmatched dedication for nearly a decade. Dash made crucial contributions to search-and-rescue missions and criminal apprehensions. As the department's first K9 officer, Dash's legacy helped establish Amherst’s K9 unit, earning widespread respect and gratitude from his community.
